Description
Bay leaf in the form of a fine powder is used in almost every dish in the Caucasus. Ground bay leaf, unlike a whole leaf, completely gives off the smell and taste of the dish. A whole bay leaf has to be used in liquids, and the powder is added along with black pepper in meat and vegetable dishes, sauces, salads.
