Description
Yellowish round mustard seeds are a necessary thing for home preparations. They increase the shelf life of products, protect them from mold. Pickles, sauerkraut, pickled onions or tomatoes turn out to be slightly spicy in taste and remain strong, crispy for a long time. Slightly mashed mustard seeds are added to fish and meat marinades, hot sauces, and whole ones are added to salads from fresh vegetables.
The seeds can be crushed, and then, by mixing them in a certain proportion with vinegar, sugar, vegetable oil, salt and water, make an excellent homemade mustard. But it will be a seasoning with a different taste and aroma!
