Description
Brown Basmati rice is a traditional Indian rice, it undergoes minor processing, which helps to preserve the bran shell of the grain. This shell preserves vitamins and nutrients during the cooking process. Rice has high taste qualities and a pleasant aroma. It is considered the most fragrant of all types of rice. After cooking, it acquires a sweet taste and exquisite aroma. Rice is easy to digest, so you should follow the cooking time indicated on the package. If properly cooked, the rice will be crumbly, slightly curved shape. Due to the low gluten content, the grains are easily washed and do not stick together during cooking. Preparation: rinse the rice until the water becomes clear and soak for 5-6 hours. Put the rice in a saucepan with water (the ratio of water to rice is 2.5-3:1), add a tsp of salt and bring to a boil. Cook over high heat for 5-10 minutes under a closed lid. Reduce the heat and cook for 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave the rice for 10-15 minutes.
